Better Late than Never

WAY back in March, the 31st to be exact,
The Chef Next Door had the

ENORMOUS, HUGE, MASSIVE 

honor of catering the "Flowers After Hours" Cocktail Party as a part of the three-day long fundraiser for the Huntsville Museum of Art called "Art in Bloom."  Three days of lectures, teas, luncheons, presentations by celebrities in the floral world, topped off with a beautiful cocktail party for 300 guests and an "Iron Florist" competition! Up until that point, our largest catered function was for 150 people and was just a simple wedding...so we have never worked so hard in our lives but it turned out gorgeous and if our business wasn't booming before, this event really put us on the map!

Thank you to my love Taylor, my awesome Mom, my friend and business partner Heather, Taylor's sister Allison, and my oldest and dearest friend, Gracie, for all of your fantastic help!!

    Not to mention a passionate community of cooks and food lovers are engaged in social media and blogging sharing their personal preferences in cooking. Creating their own cooking style, creativity in presentation and a combination of recipe design. But let us not forget about Designing the Menu, in fact graphically designed menu is essential to customer in a restaurant because it will attract them to order. If we will do more research, we can find recipes coming from top cookbooks and magazines, a growing number of recipes are shared by the cooks in their community websites.
